  • Extensive collections of documents can be transferred between
ATLAS server installations without manual rework.

ATLAS ECM can cooperate with any number of other ATLAS server installations.
Several projects can be processed simultaneously. The access rights are set
correctly even when multiple transfer runs.

Structures are preserved completely and without rework. Also the version
management by several project participants is managed by ATLAS ECM.

  • Already existing directories and file structures can be imported
automatically. The existing directories are mapped as structures.

Components of 3D-systems are imported under retention of the 3D-structure.
Bills of material and ECM-structures are generated automatically.

New content can be generated with user defined templates or
existing files. Files can be inserted with drag and drop.

  • ATLAS PLM structures the content by master data, folders, projects and feature lists.

  • Master Data Management: Processes or products can be managed with master data records. Master data is
the basis for file plans and part lists. Multiple documents can be assigned to
a master data record. In this case master data and documents have the same version.

  • Folders: Stand-alone documents can be assigned to a master data record via its folders. This can
be done before and after the release of the master data record. Stand-alone documents have
their own lifecycle. They are not assigned to a master data record.

  • Projects: Master data and stand-alone documents can be assigned to projects.
This is another option to organize the content.

  • Feature Lists: Lists can be created for common features. The relevant master data records are
associated with a feature list. The features of the master data are added to the
feature list. Master Data can be searched with these specific features. The master
data record must not be expanded. The feature lists improve searching and performance.

  • ATLAS PLM includes interfaces to powerful viewers. This allows other departments
with access rights to view files and plot them. Additional viewers can be added
    by the administrator.

  • The ATLAS PLM users- and department-administration secures the access to the content.
ATLAS PLM avoids time-consuming check-in and check-out functions. The access rights
are assigned directly to the files in the ATLAS PLM archive. The user loads the files
always with ATLAS PLM. He does not need to partially work in the file system.
The work with ATLAS PLM is fast and avoids network load.
